The Gathering Place prior to a service
The Gathering Place prior to a service

Dress casually or wear a coat and tie…it’s up to you. We want you to feel welcome and comfortable as we gather to glorify God.

Our service includes musical worship with a praise band leading the congregation in a blend of contemporary modern worship as well as hymns. We also worship through seeking God in prayer and learning about the Word with biblically based expository preaching.

Sunday School (at 9:15 a.m.) offers an opportunity for all ages to explore the Bible. Adult and teen groups include family life, junior and senior high, young adults, and electives covering a certain book of the Bible or biblical topic. Children’s Sunday School classes are organized by age and grade. From 10:10-10:30 meet in the Gathering Place for coffee and fellowship. Then join us in our worship service at 10:30 a.m. This service includes worship through contemporary praise choruses, hymns, seeking God in prayer, and expository preaching that is biblically based.

Are you non-denominational? We are not, although many people assume that we are. The Alliance is a worldwide movement of churches that support missionary and relief work in more than 70 countries. On any given Sunday, half a million people gather in Alliance churches in the U.S. while another 5.5 million worship around the world. We unite in following the Great Commission to share the good news of Jesus to a lost and broken world. Cary Alliance supports the work of the Alliance by sending missionaries from our congregation and by giving to the Great Commission Fund.

How can I learn more about Cary Alliance? We have three main channels for information for newcomers. First we have a Newcomer’s Class every few months taught by one of our Pastors. This class is a great opportunity to learn about our church, our denomination, and our ministries. Second, we regularly update this website with our upcoming events and ministry opportunities. Finally, we have a monthly email newsletter called eTrellis. You can sign up for the eTrellis here. If you have further questions or would like for us to send you more information then please contact us.

Nursery is provided for the 10:30 worship service and Sunday School. We hope that you will join us.
