Roger Kamstra

Youth Pastor

Roger Kamstra, was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. His family’s Dutch heritage is rich: the Dutch Christian Reformed Church, Denver Christian School K-12, and soccer. He accepted the Lord in high school while attending a Bible study with his friends at a local church, which set his long service in youth and family ministry. He attended college at the University of Northern Colorado, then moved to California to begin working in church ministry and attend seminary.

Roger has a passion to see students come to Christ, take ownership of their faith, and grow in their personal walk with the Lord. He is committed to guiding students into living out their faith in practical ways and personally understanding God’s Word. Roj is famous for creating a fun community, where students grow in their faith and friendships while encouraging one another. He wants to see students reading their Bibles, using their spiritual gifts while serving the church, and reaching the world for Christ.

Roger holds a B.A. from the University of Northern Colorado (the “other” UNC) and an M.div. from Fuller Theological Seminary. He has been in church ministry for 20+ years and spent three years at International Christian Schools in Vienna, Austria, and Prague, Czech Republic. He is married to Stefanie and they have three grown daughters: Bethany, Molly, and Lizzie. He loves soccer, frisbee golf, lazy days on his kayak, and the beach. He is a loyal fan of the Denver Broncos.
