Help Now – Aid for Ukraine

Partner with Cary Alliance Church and Crossing All Borders (Angier, NC) to provide aid to Ukraine.

We’ve been communicating with AMCEC – Light of the Gospel in Ukraine and have arranged for 3 pallets to go specifically to churches in Kyiv for distribution. They’ve asked for items that will most help in their work in the bomb shelters and hospitals, and among the volunteers. These pallets will be included in the container that ships out NEXT WEEK.

By Sunday, we are collecting as many as possible of the following items. What we donate will be supplemented by other goods and materials already on site in Angier:

– Men’s outdoor-quality (or tactical) socks / underwear / t-shirts, and warm pants and jackets.

– Protein bars and ready-to-eat, pop-top canned goods. Imagine you left everything at home and are sheltering in a subway station: you might not even have a can opener. Of course, all food donations are helpful, but these meet a particular need.

– Blankets and sleeping pads (thin/foam/yoga mat)

– First aid supplies

– If you happen to be able to help source flak jackets or other tactical gear, it will be greatly appreciated, saving the lives of some volunteers. To arrange, contact tom [at] caryalliance [dot] org

We are collecting these things through Sunday, for now. There will likely be another container in a couple weeks, but let’s get as much as we can as soon as we can, for people who are in desperate need. All items can be brought to the awning entrance of the church. Drop off this week at 4108 Ten Ten Rd., Apex.
