Adult Ministries

small group ministry

to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.Ephesians 4:12-13 ESV

Following the pattern of these verses, our goal in adult ministries is to help folks take the next step in their walk with the Lord, and to prepare them to help others do the same. Whether someone is giving serious thought to their relationship with God for the first time, or is growing in their faith and wanting to learn and serve more, or is looking for new ways to maximize their later years for eternal impact, we want to point you to what God has to say in his Word and equip you to live it out in the home, at the workplace, and in the world.

As you explore the opportunities available, you’ll see that some ministries are life-stage and other involve mixed groups. All of them are designed to grow in and live out the Christian faith in community with others who are walking the same road, sharing similar struggles and questions, growing together into Christ-like maturity, for God’s glory.

Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. (Psalms 23:4 NIV) We, at Cary Alliance Church, are a family. And like a family, we do life together… and we do death together, too. Losing a loved one is often a long and difficult journey through a very dark valley with overwhelming fears, obstacles, and challenges. Yet, if we walk the road together,…

Small Groups

Small groups of adults meet in homes or at the church building for fellowship, prayer, worship, and discipleship through Bible study and application. Members share their lives in a “community” of believers who love one another, encourage one another, bear one another’s burdens, and build up one another. Group members choose whether to do a Bible or book study or review the sermon from the previous Sunday. Each group meets once every week or two in a home or at…

Men’s Ministry

The Alliance Men’s Program seeks to grow strong, biblically based men by developing their understanding of and dedication to biblical principles and practices. We describe this goal as biblically authentic manhood, a manhood that rejects the ever changing cultural definition of manhood and accepts the never changing, God pleasing description of man as God created and intended us to be.
