Small Groups
Adult Small Groups
Throughout the month, people meet in homes for fellowship, prayer & worship, and discipleship through Bible study and application. Groups vary in size and composition, but have in common a desire to share their lives in a “community” of believers that can love one another, encourage one another, bear one another’s burdens, and build-up one another. They provide a setting where questions are easier to ask, helping non-believers and believers alike to learn more about the Christian lifestyle.
Open registration for new groups occurs several times a year, with individual placements taking place throughout the year, through the church office or via the small groups administrator.
Please contact Mike Miguel at the church office 919-467-9331 or Fred Garcia, 919-803-8663.
Parents of Young Kids (PYK)
Each of our groups consists of about 5 or 6 families. Each group meets once a month on Friday or Saturday nights, usually at church. During the meetings, the adults get together to share prayer requests, pray for each other, and play games. It’s a great way to have some uninterrupted conversations with fellow parents! While the adults are enjoying each other’s company, the kids are having fun with paid babysitters in another part of the church.
These groups are ongoing from year to year, and offer families a chance to “grow up together” with other families in the church over time. Our adults and kids form lasting, long term relationships with each other. Kinship groups are a great way for young families to get to know other young families on a deeper level.
