Meet the Staff of Cary Alliance

Pastor Mitchell Gregory

Cary Alliance is truly blessed with a staff that love the Lord and are passionate about glorifying God by living in His holiness.

Rev. Mitchell Gregory – Senior Pastor

Mitchell, a native of Chester, SC, has served as Senior Pastor of the Cary Alliance Church since June of 1989. In addition to pastoring CAC, he serves as minister to missionaries on behalf of the Christian and Missionary Alliance. He has served in international worker field forums in Argentina, Brazil, and Hong Kong. A graduate of Columbia Bible College, Pastor Gregory is married to Beth and they have four children.

Rev. Scott Eichelberger – Executive Pastor

Scott retired in 2005 as a Lieutenant Colonel in Army Aviation and formally joined the staff of Cary Alliance as Executive Pastor in August of 2008. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from West Point, a Master of Science in Management from NCSU, and a Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Scott is married to Lois.

Rev. Scott Simpson – Pastor of Worship

Scott has served as Pastor of Worship at Cary Alliance Church since June of 2006. Scott graduated from Nyack College with a Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance and then went on to get a Master’s degree in Church Music from the Southern Baptist Seminary in Louisville, KY. Scott is married to Kirsten, and they have two children.

Rev. Benjamin Marsh – Youth Pastor

Benjamin Marsh is the Youth Pastor. He has been a member of Cary Alliance Church since his childhood. He has worked with the Dalit Freedom Network as their Washington Director He holds a BA in political science from Duke University and a Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife Olivia were married at Cary Alliance in 2004 and have one child.

Mrs. Cherri Durig – Director Children’s Ministries

Cherri Durig is the Director of Children’s Ministries. She was raised in Southington, Ohio. Cherri graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science in General Studies with a concentration in Youth and Counseling Ministries. Cherri is married to Tom and they have three children.

Mr. Mike Miguel – Church Administrator

Mike serves as Church Administrator, Treasurer, and Counselor. He joined the church staff in March of 2002. Mike retired from business to study Pastoral Counseling at Ashland Theological Seminary after which he counseled for several years at churches and Christian counseling agencies in Ohio. Mike has been married to wife Betty for more than 35 years and is the father of two grown children.

Mrs. Barb Smith – Administrative Assistant

Barb is the church secretary. She and her husband Wesley (who works with Trans World Radio) have attended Cary Alliance Church since 1991. Barb has a bachelor’s degree in music education from The King’s College, and served as a choir director and worship leader for a number of years. Wes and Barb have three children and two grandchildren.
