Our purpose in women’s ministry is to encourage every woman in our church to be an imitator of Christ. We desire to walk in love as Christ did, to be a fragrant offering and sacrifice as we serve together in our church, our community and our world. Ephesians 5:1
Women's Ministries at Cary Alliance Church this past year included Bible studies, prayer groups, MOPS, kinship groups, special events, and retreats.
Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) The purpose of MOPS is to meet the needs of every mom (urban and suburban, stay-at-home and working, teen, single, and married). Moms with different lifestyles all share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be! MOPS is about celebrating motherhood, meeting needs, making connections and experiencing God's love. MOPS provides encouragement and fun, small group discussions, creative activities and nurturing child care, all from a Biblical perspective. MOPS meetings are the first and third Wednesdays, 9:30-11:30 A.M. September through May at the church.
One of the mothers in our current MOPS group recently shared about her family and how she came to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and how it is continuing to strengthen. It was recorded and you may listen to it now.

Women's Missionary Connection It is our purpose and joy to support and pray for Alliance missionaries. We generally meet on the second Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m., but dates may change for special events. We also maintain a Missions closet, attend a spring retreat at Ridgecrest, and support service projects such as providing supplies for the Bongolo Hospital. If you have a heart for missions, then WMC is for you! Contact Ruth Ann Stikeleather.
Women of Prayer Our heart's desire is that each lady will prayerfully seek the Lord. We're excited to see what our Lord will do as we look to Him for guidance in becoming faithful intercessors lifting up our church, the persecuted church, our nation, our families/friends and ourselves in prayer. If you love to pray or want to learn more about prayer, please contact Beth York (467-7567) for more info about our prayer groups.
'Devote yourselves to prayer...' Colossians 4:2
