Service Opportunities

Nursery Ministry

Cary Alliance has a variety of thriving ministries. Whether it's an age-specific ministry like children or youth, or one of our ministries like MOPS or PYK, there are plenty of ways for you to participate. To find out more about how you can get involved in a ministry, check out our Ministries section. Currently, we have special needs for people to serve in the following roles.

We have different gifts, according to the grace given us… let (us) use (them) in proportion to (our) faith… generously… diligently… cheerfully. Romans 12:6-8

Facility and Special Project Support

Can’t commit to scheduled activities but able to share your abilities or help with occasional projects…within your areas of interest? Perhaps a one-time-only project or seasonal task is a good fit?

While Trustees steward the property’s physical requirements, protecting the investment, insuring safety and maintaining the appearance is not possible by themselves. Without help, important tasks remain undone. Most projects are typical of what you may have completed in your home, most are short term and able to be done on your schedule

If you’re interested in learning more or just being on a contact list as future needs arise, please contact trustees or Dave Bodart

Ushers/Greeters/Prayer Team
Contact Dick Perkins

Ushers – Responsible for: greeting the congregation as they enter the Worship Center, handing out bulletins, seating, taking the offering. Ushers serve on a rotating basis, about eight times per year for each usher, starting at about 10:45 a.m. The friendliness and kindness shown by the church usher sets the tone for the entire service, so if you have a heart for others, this is the ministry for you.

Greeting and Prayer Team – There are four teams of about five people each who serve one Sunday a month, opening the church’s outer doors for people and greeting them as they arrive, from about 10:45 a.m. to 11:05 a.m. Each person then chooses whether they will spend time in prayer with a prayer team during the service (praying for the service) or attend the morning service.

Pre-Worship Greeters – Greet newcomers throughout foyer and MPR and provide a friendly atmosphere to answer questions about the church and our ministries. It is the perfect ministry for encouraging others and pointing them in the right direction for opportunities specifically for them at CAC. If you want to be involved in growing the church, this is a wonderful opportunity to use your gifts. Involvement is one Sunday a month, from 10:45 a.m. to 11:05 a.m.
