Bible Studies

  • Precepts Bible Study are inductive Bible studies that fully utilize inductive study skills of observation, interpretation, and application for the best independent discovery of God’s Word. These classes are open to women and men on Monday morning 9:30 am – 11:30 am & evening 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. The 2011-12 fall/winter studies will be Genesis Parts 1 & 2 (6 lessons & 10 lessons respectively). Part 1 covers chapters 1-2 The Creation and Part 2 covers chapters 3-11 The Fall, the Flood and the Nations. The classes have trained Precept leaders for the class discussion plus a video lecture.   • He Speaks to Me Based on the life of Samuel, He Speaks to Me addresses a woman’s need to develop a richer prayer life, a more intimate relationship with God, and an increasing ability to share her experience of God with others. Let Priscilla Shirer help you prepare to hear from God in practical ways by giving you a deeper understanding of the Holy Spirit. Kelley Miller will facilitate the 7 week Monday morning study in Room 112 at 9:30 beginning September 19th. Childcare (birth to 4 yrs.) will be provided in the morning group. Sign up at the information desk. The study is also being held on Monday evenings at 7:00 beginning Sept. 19 in room 112. No childcare is available for the evening class.
