Worship Ministries
Worship at Cary Alliance Church is firmly established on the Word of God as its foundation and is expressed through the singing of songs, reading of Scripture, prayer, and the preaching of the God’s Word. In all things, God is to be glorified and His people edified.
Worship Team – The Worship Team includes vocals, piano keyboard, guitar, bass guitar, drums, and other instruments as they are available. The team practices weekly on Thursday nights at 6:30 and prepares for and participates in worship each Sunday as well as the Christmas program and other special events throughout the year.
Sanctuary Choir – The Sanctuary Choir is open to individuals who enjoy worshiping God in song and are of high school age or above. The choir rehearses and sings in worship regularly from August through May and participates in the annual Christmas program and other special services throughout the year.
Children’s Choir – Children enjoy singing in our children’s choir, which meets for several sessions during the school year and then ministers in the Sunday morning worship services at least once per session. Emphasis is placed on knowing and loving God, understanding church music through the learning of the historic hymns, and musical education.
Orchestral Instruments – If you play an orchestral instrument and are interested in playing in the music ministries of CAC, contact Scott Simpson for opportunities. We periodically utilize brass section, strings, and other instruments in our worship services and in other special presentations throughout the year.
